Verdict

The Big Lense, a winner between the flags, couldn't find a finishing burst when runner-up over 2m4f at Clonmel but this longer trip should play to his strengths. Ask And Answer and Brogine arrive with 4lb penalties for recent victories and are well in at the weights. The former is lightly raced and on the upgrade and though he could do with some rain he stays the trip well while the latter has never been beyond 2m4f. Court Tycoon has yet to prove he stays this far and returns after a long break but this can go to ON CALL (NAP). Joseph O'Brien's charge was staying on strongly over 2m6f in a Downpatrick maiden despite having ripped a shoe off during the race. He could be well treated for his handicap debut.
