Verdict

Official ratings suggest Magic Shuffle is very well in but he's been running so poorly since earning his mark at Dundalk that he's difficult to consider. Bar Room Bore looked a certain future winner when beaten a head in a Cork maiden but didn't run up to that form on softer ground at Clonmel. DREAMBOAT DAVE has plenty to find on ratings but at least arrives in decent form having having been placed in three handicaps this term. He gets the vote due to his consistency and the fact that Sevenaday, rated 8lb higher, was beaten in a similar race at Tipperary in August and has never raced over the trip.
