        Verdict

        Anfield Dream and Revien could fight out the finish of this modest maiden with the former just getting the vote, Kempsey may do best of the remainder. The John Jenkins trained gelding has been knocking on the door all winter and put in another solid display over course and distance last time.He did little wrong in that event as he came to have every chance in the final furlong, but just couldn't get to Resplendent Glory. A similar effort today should suffice. Revien put in three very good performances during November and if fit following a couple of months off he should once again be in the money. Kempsey has a bit to find with the selection on a line through Resplendent Glory but could be good enough to sneak into a place at a decent price. Flying Dancer and Mr Mayfair may do best of the others, but this looks a good opportunity for Anfield Dream to lose his maiden tag.
