      Verdict

Eccentric makes a quick return to the track following a superb victory here on Saturday and he can go in again today, Glaramara and Binanti may provide most danger. Andrew Reid's gelding dominated throughout to get the better of Little Good Bay by a comfortable two lengths. If he gets things his own way again this afternoon he will be difficult to catch. Glaramara has been running over shorter trips recently but has no problem getting this mile and should be in the shake up off a very handy mark. Binanti is at the top of his game and has strong claims on his run behind the selection back in December. Eccentric came out on top by a length but is a lot worse off at the weights. However Eccentric is a dour battler and is expected to confirm the running. Secret Place has also to be given consideration in a wide open affair, but we expect Eccentric to steal a march on his rivals today and he gets the decision
