      Verdict

      BOUNTIFUL GUEST showed the usual signs of inexperience on his debut. Slowly away and doing his best work at the finish when third behind A Little Bit Dusty over a mile here, Mick Channon's gelding is expected to improve past today's rival over this longer trip and gets the vote. Ad Vitam didn't get a clear run when fourth over C&D last week but has a bit to find on these terms, while there is plenty of speed in Cool Luke's pedigree and he may need more time to adapt to this longer distance. The remaining pair are hard to fancy.
