Verdict

QUEEN O'THE DESERT returned to action with a second to Joe Le Taxi over C&D last week. She did well to finish so close to the winner as she was forced wide on the final bend and, given normal luck in-running, Andrew Balding's filly looks set to get off the mark here. York Glory made a promising debut when third over 7f here and a good run from the runner-up Bosambo in the previous race would boost the form. Fairy Tales and Lovat Lane have both made the frame recently and a place looks the best they can hope for here.
