Verdict

Experience versus potential in this small-field handicap and we will side with the up-and-coming I Have Dreamed to land the spoils, although the other three runners each have solid claims. Terry Mils' five-year-old stepped up on last year's efforts to win in game fashion just eleven days ago and looked as though the extra furlong today should suit to a 'T'. Having strengthened up during his time off the track, the selection could be capable of running up a quick sequence of victories. Polish Power warrants plenty of respect as a course and distance winner and has the most experience of these, however he struggled off his revised mark last time out. It may be that he just didn't stay the extra furlong that day and so cannot be ruled out as he has won off just a 2lb lower mark in the past. Art Modern responded well to first-time blinkers last time out but it remains to be seen whether they will work the oracle twice in a row, especially as he is yet to fully prove his stamina for this longer trip. Lemonette is a filly on the upgrade and should appreciate the return to this trip today. With the promising Patrick Hills aboard she must have claims, however we will stick with I Have Dreamed to get his head in front again.
