In depth
Verdict
The Hannon yard won the last renewal in 2019 and Mums Tipple finished well ahead of Documenting when landing a Listed prize over 7f at Wolverhampton. He’s worth another try over this longer trip while KHUZAAM was narrowly beaten in Listed company last year but returned to action with a victory at Chelmsford having been gelded subsequently. Roger Varian’s charge still has scope for further improvement and should also have the measure of Fox Duty Free. The latter beat Via Serendipity over track and trip when landing a hat-trick at the end of last year and deserves a crack at this level along with Intuitive, who easily beat Mission Boy in a handicap here back in January. Bless Him has been competing in tough races in Dubai and has a shout on these terms while Silver Quartz was well beaten in this in 2019 but has been winning on the all-weather in France since switching yards and is preferred to compatriot Canagat.
