Inke would have been the choice had she enjoyed the benefit of a run but the Intikhab filly, progressive in ordinary handicaps last autumn, hasn't been seen since beaten a nose in her three-timer bid at Epsom last September, She starts the new campaign on a 5lb higher mark but remains very much of interest and the market should instruct as to her readiness on this first run back. Two solid recent runs bring Molten Lava into the thick of it and this intermediate 9f trip could prove ideal for the Cole charge but the choice is BRIDGE OF SIGHS. Martin Smith's gelding posted a hat-trick in the winter before showing his ability on turf last month when an excellent second to Inniscastle Lad in a competitive Sandown handicap. Admittedly, he's upped in grade here but seems to be going the right way and remains relatively lightly-raced.
