      Verdict

      Last year’s winner ENCORE D’OR (NAP) finished in front of the two previous winners of this - Royal Birth and Boom The Groom - when narrowly beaten in a Listed contest over track and trip a week ago. Bob Cowell’s charge is taken to go one better this time and also confirm latest running with Brother Tiger. The latter beat Dynamo Walt here last month though finished second to George Dryden over course and distance before that. Atletico looks the biggest danger to the selection returning to the minimum trip having just missed out over 6f at Wolverhampton during the week.
