    Verdict

    Mambo Dancer carries 6lb extra having won at Chelmsford during the week but has the beating of Seaport and Silver Quay on earlier running at Wolverhampton. However, AUTHOR’S DREAM shrugged off an 8lb hike in the weights over track and trip last month to land a hat-trick and Bill Knight’s charge is just preferred despite a further rise. Rydan went close over course and distance in December and can race off the same mark but Barye has plenty to prove over today’s trip judged on his earlier attempts.
