Verdict
Al Hazim was good value for his win at Salisbury last time and, provided that he handles the Polytrack, Luca Cumani's colt has an obvious chance of following up of his new mark and gets the vote over Bold Diktator and Lisathedaddy. The last mentioned has ultimately disappointed since winning here in May but has only had two starts since then so there could be more to come. The Barry Hills-trained Evening remains a maiden and is hard to recommend with confidence, while Wester Lodge is inconsistent and proving to be expensive to follow. Bold Diktator is gradually coming back to a fair mark and cannot be discounted but Al Hazim has an obvious chance and gets the vote.
