Verdict

STAR OF SOUTHWOLD might be suited by this sharp track as he goes from the front. He’s won twice over this trip at Chelmsford and George Rooke gave him an enterprising ride at Wolverhampton on Boxing Day so expect something similar here from a low draw. Universal Gleam is a danger after overcoming traffic problems to score over track and trip in November but Sky Defender can sulk if he doesn’t get his own way out in front. Creationist has been racing over further recently but has never won beyond a mile. Humbert and Scofflaw aren’t out of this but Mythical Madness would need everything to go his way to win.
