In depth

Verdict

Lady Bergamot probably exceeded expectations in a Listed race here in October but a further drop in distance may not be ideal. Battle Of Marathon struggles in the grade nowadays while Cliffs Of Dooneen is having a first run since finishing tailed off in the Chester Cup last May. Ship Of The Fen may also need this but Getchagetchagetcha won over this trip at Wolverhampton last month and Kitaabaat was successful at Kempton in November. PETITE JACK (NAP) is chasing an eighth course victory and looked ready to strike again here two weeks ago when a close third to Entangling having met interference in the closing stages.
