In depth

Verdict

An interesting start to proceedings that we think will be won by Emshabb. Dream Sea and Beautiful Lady are two of her more interesting opponents. Ryan Moore takes over from Liam Jones aboard the selection following a mildly controversial defeat last time. Regardless of that, she showed improved form for the step up to this trip last time and a repeat of that performance may be good enough. Beautiful Lady and Ever Rigg are well bred newcomers who should be monitored in the market with Dream Sea and Princess Raya the best of the opposition with experience. Dream Sea has looked in need of this step up in trip in the past and should improve for it whilst Princess Raya was a shade disappointing last time but has claims on her debut form. However, they may all have to settle for minor roles behind Emshabb.
