Verdict

Ralph Beckett saddled the winner of the Kempton maiden that Dr Wintringham finished fourth in so market support for Raggle Taggle would look significant and we'll put her forwards here. Beckett has made a flying start to his first full season training at Whitsbury and his juveniles are clearly in good form. The selection has a couple of entries in valuable sales races for later in the year which is encouraging and although this minimum trip is a concern given her pedigree we're prepared to take a chance. Dr Wintringham is the best of those with experience and is entitled to improve on her debut performance. Several runners in the race attracted support but they finished in a heap and the form may not turn out to be that strong. Kate The Great looks the part on paper and hails from a yard that knows the time of day but Raggle Taggle gets our vote.
