RED HORSE is the token selection ahead of the likes of Short Cut, Sermons Mount and Jonnie Skull. The selection failed to make an impact at two but there were more positives to be taken from his reappearance at Brighton where he was beaten under 5 lengths. He's entitled to come on for that run and may be able to reward the faith of his connections. Sermons Mount has run some sound races this season and has claims if getting the breaks on his return to racing on an artificial surface whilst Jonnie Skull held on well to gain a maiden success at Kempton but could struggle to follow up under a penalty. Short Cut has been running well since being fitted with a tongue tie and warrants attention on his first visit to the track whilst Hanta Yo moves in the handicap ranks so needs a market check as this may not take a great deal of winning. He may not be one for the mortgage but Red Horse gets the nod.
