    In depth

    Verdict

In the opener, Our Kes is selected ahead of Orpen Wide. Our Kes looked to be rejuvenated when winning at Wolverhampton last time and, with connections keen to strike while the iron is hot, can go well again. Orpen Wide gets a good mention as he is now closing in on a winning Wolverhampton mark. Birthday Star has proven competitive from his current mark but over further as a rule, and Irish raider Moving Target is one to monitor in the betting, while Voice Mail put in a fair effort here last time and Revolve comes here seeking a straight hat-trick of wins, although he steps up in grade today. Once again, then, the selection is Our Kes.
