In depth

Verdict

Bumptious is the least exposed on only her second start since 2015 while Fire Diamond was sent off favourite at Kempton last time but never threatened. Spiritual Star has been thereabouts since scoring at Wolverhampton in March but another chance goes to THUNDERING BLUE, who struggled back on Turf at Nottingham last time but was beaten less than a length over track and trip before that. Frank Bridge showed good progress last year but is 10lb higher than his latest success at Epsom in July and Handytalk has yet to take advantage of a slide down the weights.
