      Verdict

      PLEDGE OF HONOUR made his seasonal debut over a mile at Kempton having won over today’s longer trip at Newbury last autumn. Only 3lb higher for this, much better is expected from Dean Ivory’s charge today. Oslo has won twice on the all-weather but still looks high enough in the weights but novice winner Angel On High has placed off today’s mark in a handicap, though hasn’t raced since August.
