        Verdict

        STEEL AN ICON escapes a penalty for winning an apprentices’ race at Leicester though her rider was claiming 10lb on that occasion. But that was only her second start on Turf and there could be more to come in a weak contest. Sir Canford may improve on his second outing after wind surgery but Azor Ahai would prefer softer going. Ice Canyon and Rakematiz last won on Turf back in 2018 and 2017 respectively.
