In depth
Verdict
This is quite a trappy fillies' handicap and the vote is given to Uig, with Wassfa and Snake Skin also on the shortlist. The selection is a course and distance winner and she scored impressively at Chepstow last time to beat Nightspot. She does have a penalty for that success but she is improving with her racing and can her head in front again. Wassfa is interesting as she ran really well when beaten by Liberty Run at Brighton last time but the leading pair did come clear of the rest that day and she should be capable of getting her head in front before too long. Snake Skin won a handicap in good style at Brighton last time when beating Adage and it will be interesting to see if she can on front that. Cortesia is from a yard in form and can go well at a price, but for the winner we will stick with Uig.
