Verdict
Crimson Star has been knocking at the door lately and maybe today could be the day it opens, with Beauty Of Dreams, Bertocelli and Primatech rated her biggest dangers. The selection has finished runner-up in her last three races, including once over course and distance. She deserves to win a race and, much as she has been off for 74 days, connections could have found her a good opportunity. The form of Beauty Of Dreams fourth at Lingfield last time has worked out, with the winner, Fisby, having won this week, and she has form enough to be competitive here. That last comment also applies to Bertocelli who drops back in trip following a 10-furlong run here last time, although he looks closely-weighted with Colloseum based on literal form with Larad. If a first-timer visor works for Forzenuff, he could go well, a similar comment applying to Primatech, who showed slightly improved from in a Yarmouth seller last time. Whiplash won a Salisbury claimer in May, and has chances based on that, although her recent form is not so special, while Heathyards Joy is generally consistent, albeit at a low level and might sneak a place. For the winner, though, we return to Crimson Star.
