Verdict
Not a race to be sticking the mortgage money on but Indian Blaze is confidently selected to take the prize. Formerly with David Elsworth, he is now in the care of Andrew Reid and is perhaps a little high in the handicap these days. This grade is much more his forte and providing that forays into non-sellers have not denegrated his desire for the game, he looks difficult to oppose. Casual Fame was listed class in France as a two-year-old but showed little on debut for Mick Quinn. Mythical Charm looks to be the best alternative. Brett Johnson's team are in good form at the moment and a reproduction of a recent second to Companion (Absolute Utopia behind) could well suffice. Decelerate has performed creditably in recent handicaps at the track and the step in to this grade coupled with the booking of Darryll Holland is certainly of some interest. Prince Minata and Glitter and Glory look harshly treated at these weights and are passed over.
