        Verdict

        Zam Zammah gets the vote in this maiden over Priceoflove and Simpsons Ross. The selection hails from the Sir Michael Stoute yard and this well-bred colt should be up to the task of making a winning debut today. Priceoflove looks the best of those with racecourse experience but she was disappointing on her all-weather debut at Wolverhampton last time and that run does temper our confidence in her. Simpsons Ross has got ability but he has yet to get his head in front after 17 starts so it will be a surprise to us if he can get the better of our selection. Russian Mist will be suited by the drop in trip and may be good enough to challenge for a place, but in a weak race Zam Zammah should prove too strong for his rivals.
