    Verdict

Looking For Carl has been threatening a return to winning ways over today’s trip though has a poor strike rate and PEAT MOSS is preferred. The winning hurdler remains unexposed on the Flat and finished runner-up at Southwell on last month’s return to action. Bird For Life is back on a winning mark if rediscovering his best while the veteran Uncle Bernie scored over track and trip back in January but is 5lb higher. Celtic Classic has won over 1m6f and will be sharper for a recent comeback while this longer distance will suit Reeceltic, who has placed in a bumper.
