      Verdict

      Both Teen Ager and West Leake arrive on the back of course wins in lower grade handicaps. The former will do well to confirm superiority with runner-up Indus Valley on worse terms but LIGHT ROSE has the strongest recent form. She finished a close-up third here last time ahead of a subsequent winner and Jeremy Gask's mare is taken come out best in this. Mac's Power has slipped down the weights without showing any benefit so far and Maymyo looks high enough in the handicap.
