Verdict
AFONSO DE SOUSA (NAP) had little chance up against Romsdal, rated 115, in a Listed event at Kempton last time but finished a creditable second. He can carry top weight to victory in this. Gold Trail missed out by only a head stepped up to 2m here in February and has every chance while Fire Fighting is not without claims back on the all-weather. The latter's stablemate Notarised returns to action off a 6lb higher mark having won at Yarmouth in September and Trip To Paris has something to find with Fire Fighting on latest form. The remainder also look up against it in this higher grade.
