Verdict
Charleston looks the one to beat here with Peak Of Perfection and Muslin put forward as the likely dangers. The colt from the John Gosden yard has been second on each of his three starts to date, but he is upped in trip here and that should bring about enough improvement to see him get his head in front. Peak Of Perfection looked a difficult ride at Kempton last time, and the tendency to hang when in front has been his undoing so far. If he could overcome that problem he would go close here but on this occasion we are happy to take him on. Muslin has shown plenty of promise but she may be seen to better effect in handicap company, so she is another that we will oppose. Of the remainder, Delightfully has shown a fair level of form and is now upped in trip, but Charleston sets a fair standard here and is taken to score.
