Verdict
Good Effort finished in front of 2019 winner Judicial and Soldier's Minute when winning last year’s renewal and has leading claims once again. He beat the French raider Manjeer at Deauville in August while Harry's Bar travels over from Ireland with every chance at the weights but Misty Grey found EXALTED ANGEL (NAP) too good in Listed company here back in February. The latter was beaten only a head at the All-Weather Championships subsequently and Karl Burke’s charge should make a bold bid back on this surface for the first time since. The remainder have plenty to find on these terms though The Last Lion returns from stud duties having won the Group 1 Middle Park for Mark Johnston as a two-year-old way back in 2016.
