      Verdict

PYLEDRIVER drops back down in trip on his return from a lay-off but is a cut above these if at his best. He won the Coronation Cup at Epsom in June and can defy a penalty. The Gosden yard has won the last two renewals though last year’s winner Dubai Warrior is now with David Loughnane and Harrovian is preferred. Winter Derby runner-up Felix is another with a shout having made a winning reappearance last season while Fox Tal has placed in Listed company on several occasions this year. The 425,000gns purchase Cu Chulainn landed a novice race at Kempton last month and tries his luck at this level.
