Verdict

La Peregrina, First Of May and Heversham look the three to concentrate on in this maiden and the vote goes to La Peregrina. Sir Mark Prescott's inmate was a fair second on her debut over seven furlongs behind Mayzin she is sure to have learnt from the experience and with the step up in trip sure to suit she will be hard to beat. First Of May was a fair third behind Sophistication last time and is another that will appreciate this longer trip. Heversham was fourth on his debut behind Honest Injun but did not run as if in need of a longer trip and for that reason he is opposed. A few of the newcomers catch the eye on breeding including Saint Zita and Shannkara¿s Quest and they are worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to La Peregrina.
