        Verdict

        A wide open contest rounds off the card and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Blessed Place, Cayman Breeze and Zazous and the tentative vote is given to Cayman Breeze. The selection was a fair sixth in a better race behind Brave Chief last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and off what looks a lenient mark he rates as the value bet in an open affair. Blessed Place looks the main danger as he has been in good form of late and will appreciate the return to this trip having been outpaced over the minimum distance behind Golden Asha on his last run. Zazous is another worthy of respect as he was a fair third behind Forest Dane last time out. However he has had plenty of chances and at likely odds he looks worth taking on. Mambazo is from a shrewd yard and ran his best race for a while when third behind Maluti last time, but he has yet to prove he is effective on this surface. Of the remainder, Edin Burgher is dropping in grade and is another to note in the market but in a trappy finale for the winner we return to Cayman Breeze.
