Verdict

Mr Lambros is taken to make all, with Something, Wateside, King Marju and Indian Steppes seen as the other main players. Mr Lambros loves it round here, having collected on three of his six visits, including when scoring under Martin Dwyer last time. Granted there were plenty in that race who like to come late, so his task was made easier, but his pilot rode them to sleep that day and we can expect a similar type of effort this time as well despite the better quality of the opposition. Something appears to be the main danger after the way that he disposed of Moayed and company on his all-weather bow three weeks ago. He was always going well and quickened up nicely to oblige, but now has to contend with an eight-pound rise in the weights. Waterside scored off a career-high mark at Southwell but that was over a mile, and back on this surface he may well be taken off his feet in this company. King Marju has a visor on for the first time and Indian Steppes has an absence to overcome. Both are worth a mention, but Mr Lambros has what it takes to dominate from the start.
