Verdict

GALIOTTO appeals as a horse to keep faith with and is consequently preferred to Pedasus and Amroth. The selection showed promise on more than one occasion last term but it wasn't until his reappearance at Brighton last month that he got his head in front from a stablemate. A 7lb rise for that win looks fair enough given that it was a competitive enough race for the grade and he could have too much firepower for this opposition. Pedasus hasn't lived up to initial expectations but he's found only one too strong on two occasions this season and it may not be too long until he picks up a prize. The handicapper has left his mark alone and he shapes as though he's well worth a try at this longer trip. Amroth posted an improved performance on her reappearance and Ryan Moore has a near one in four strike rate for the yard but the winner of the Chepstow race didn't do a great deal for the form at Newbury at the weekend. Largem finished close up at Wolverhampton and has claims if transferring that level of form to turf but there are no such concerns for Galiotto who is taken to score.
