In depth
Verdict
Kingsdon can gain another course and distance success, with Sneem's Rock, Rowan Pursuit, Temper Tantrum and Margery Daw just a few worthy adversaries. Kingsdon gained his first handicap win over the course and distance last June and followed up later that month on Turf at Newcastle. Tim Fitzgerald's charge has taken time to come to hand in three runs on the all-weather but is back over his best trip today and should be spot on now. He is not too badly handicapped and can go close from his inside draw. Sneem's Rock showed his best form yet on his handicap bow over the track and trip last time when third to Lawaaheb, with Temper Tantrum back in seventh, and on today's terms, should just about come out ahead of that rival again. Rowan Pursuit tackles the trip for the first time and faces stronger company than of late, while Margery Daw goes well for a girl and was only just behind Easter Ogil over the course and distance last time. Kingsdon may be about to strike form and so we shall rely on him to do so today.
