Verdict
An open claimer here and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Another Con, One Upmanship and Esperance and the vote goes to Another Con. The selection was a a fair fifth behind Rolex Free last time out and in what looks a less competitive race under conditions that suit he is taken to score. One Upmanship rates the main danger he was a good winner last time when defeating Cayman Calypso but that was a maiden handicap and he looks to have been put in on a high enough mark for what he has actually achived. Esperance was behind Taiyo in a seller last time but the fact that that gives him place claims indicates what a bad race this is. Of the remainder Auroville showed improved form to be second in this grade behind Treason Trail last time and he is from a shrewd yard so is worth noting in the market but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Another Con.
