Verdict
South O'The Border, Mad Carew and Dower House are the three for the shortlist here and the vote is given to Mad Carew. The selection is exposed but he is nonetheless in good form and a reproduction of his latest effort when he finished third behind Mi Odds at Southwell should be good enough today. South O'The Border rates the main danger even though he was slightly disappointing when last seen out at Goodwood. However, he has run well here in the past and it would be a surprise if he wasn't able to make the frame. Dower House is not getting any younger but he ran well despite being hampered last time at Wolverhampton behind Pass The Port. Along with Ginko he looks to have decent place claims, but for the winner we will stick with Mad Carew.
