In depth

Verdict

Master Burbidge and Highway One revert to the Flat and both were placed on the all-weather off similar marks earlier in the year. The mostly-consistent Gold Standard won over 1m4f here last week and can figure if lasting home and the same comment applies to Villanelle but there are no doubts about JEN’S FELLA staying. The latter was beaten only a length over 2m in a tougher contest at Newcastle recently and Ian Williams’ charge makes most appeal on that form. Amanto looks best of the rest back over today’s longer trip.
