Verdict
Not many stand out here apart from Resplendent Prince who should put his experience to good use over the likes of Bluff and newcomers Cape Unknown, Stay Close and Nightwing. With little worthwhile form to go on, Resplendent Prince appears to have been found a suitable opportunity to go one better than when second to zarabad at Wolverhampton in November. Terry Mills' son of Primo Dominie was very keen there, as he had been on his debut here previosly. If Richard Quinn can just get him to settle, then he has obvious claims. Bluff has the assistance of Kieren Fallon but will need to improve plenty on his Wolverhampton introduction, in which he only got going when it was all over. Gerard Butler is a trainer to follow here so any money for his newcomer Cape Unknown should be noted, while Stay Close is bred to get further than today's trip. His stablemate Nightwing makes no great appeal either, and Resplendent Prince should have the legs of them on this occasion
