Caspar The Cub finished ahead of C Note when scoring over 1m4f here last month but has since fallen victim to Cosmeapolitan over the same distance. Abe Lincoln has every chance on his third at last year’s All-Weather Championships though hasn’t raced since September while Calling Out’s earlier success at Chelmsford came over a mile and he’s yet to win over this far. It could pay to stick with the rejuvenated PACTOLUS (NAP) given he’s won twice on the all-weather over the winter including over a similar trip at Wolverhampton on Boxing Day and another bold bid is expected in his current frame of mind.
