        Verdict

        The second division of this contest and a chance for ultra-reliable and consistent ROY'S LEGACY (NAP) to add to his excellent tally of 21 wins, 16 of which have been delivered on the all-weather. He's a nine-year-old now but the fires are still burn brightly enough at this level as a comfortable victory over course and distance last time demonstrated. That said, there are another four course and distance winners on show and Dramatic Voice is the only member of the field yet to score at Lingfield. Ask The Guru is not the most consistent but probably rates the main danger if on a going day, whilst Equally Fast has performed with credit at a higher level and should contend. Evening Starlight has form claims but this is a comeback run and the market may prove the best guide to the Hodges inmate.
