Verdict
A competitive and interesting line-up for this Listed Race, with the Winter Derby winner, Adiemus, Cambridegshire winner and fifth, Beauchamp Pilot (who just has the edge at the weights) and Kirovski, German raider Aljaarif, who has won 16 races, dual Classic winner - and fourth in the St James's Palace Stakes, Dupont, the Listed Newmarket winner Lagudin (on good to soft), dual Cambridgeshire-placed, Man O'Mystery and Simon Dow's October York winner, Londoner, are all among a field chasing the ¿30,000 prize-money. It is hard to escape the class of Dupont, and he gets the TEAMtalk vote in a very good contest and despite his six-pound penalty.
