Imperium has a nice racing weight, is in great form and is taken to win this with Stoic Leader and Special Place both worthy of mention. The selection never knows how to run a bad race. He has not finished out of the first three in his last eight races winning three of those. As a result his all weather rating has gone up eleven pounds. Having said that he contiues to run well and if maintaining that purple patch he is taken to score once again. Stoic Leader with pose as the biggest danger as he caught the eye when third to Topiary Ted over nine furlongs here last time out. This drop in trip will suit as most of his fourteen career wins have been around this trip. So on the back of his last run he has to be respected. Special Place is relatively unexposed with only seven runs under his belt. He had been running well this winter before winning over course and distance last time out. He had four more pounds to carry as a result which looks fair and has bottom weight to carry so is one to note. But for the winner we will side with the consistent Imperium.
