Verdict

Bumper and hurdles winner Appy Days was runner-up on the Flat at Newcastle last time and finished ahead of Casablanca here before that. The Blue Bomber makes his debut in this code having failed to win in bumpers or over timber and Paris Bound is another who started life in bumpers but was well beaten at Wolverhampton last time. MARAUDER looks a safer proposition given Henry Candy’s charge finished a lot closer when fourth over track and trip last month beating Appy Days and Casablanca in the process and a winner has already come out of the race.
