Verdict
As one would expect Atraaf is beautifully bred and there are elements of his pedigree that suggest this surface will suit, but defying stall 12 on debut won't be easy and we know he won't be knocked about. Monopolize also takes the eye but Henry Cecil's record with juveniles here isn't great and he may not represent any value, so we'll take a chance on another newcomer in the shape of PICTURE OF LILY. William Knight operates at close to 25% with his two-year-olds at the track and this daughter of Medicean is closely related to a Polytrack winner. She'll probably want further in time but this 25,000gns purchase looks worth an each-way play. Layla's King showed enough promise at Nottingham to merit consideration while More Than Enough has plenty of speed in the pedigree and is also worth noting in the betting.
