Verdict
One of the toughest races on the card to solve with plenty of the 14-strong field holding claims. Among those worthy of a mention are the hat-trick seeking Indian Blaze from Andrew Reid's stable, who steps up in class, and Gay Kelleway's consistent Miss Glory Be, who is arguably better on the Fibresand. Both are probably best watched today. Figura and Other Routes were separated by just two-and-a-half lengths when filling the first two places in handicap company here last time. The runner-up has claims of reversing the form on the revised terms, as does the third that day Broughton Zest. My Valentine is better than he showed at Southwell on his most recent start but has yet to confirm his liking for this surface and a better bet may be Must Be Magic. Hugh Collingridge's gelding lost no caste in defeat after an absence of 12 weeks when chasing home Gary Moore's Shaman over course and distance earlier this month. Entitled to strip fitter for the run, he gets the vote in a trappy contest.
