Verdict
The vote here goes to Leopoldine ahead of Storm On The Run and Divo Nero. With his stable among the winners, Divo Nero has to be considered in this run-of-the-mill affair, while Kansas Gold, a half-brother to Texas Gold, is one to catch the eye on breeding. Storm On The Run got going a fraction too late at Nottingham last time and should go well in a bid to make amends, while Titian Dancer would hold a chance based on his debut run last season, although he failed to follow it up in his only other run. Leopoldine showed improvement when dropped to this trip for the first time last time and was probably unlucky to come up against a decent type there, so she is very much respected, while Royal Senga is certainly bred for speed. Once again, though, the selection is Leopoldine.
