        Verdict

        Copywriter gets the nod over Hawk House and Spinning Sound while Casa Catalina is related to several winners and can be placed to good effect as she gains in experience. Quite whether she will be precocious enough to get off the mark at the first time of asking is open to debate and she may need a little more time. Spinning Sound showed a likeable attitude on debut at Newmarket last month and he is will be a big threat if, as can be expected, he shows improved form. Spinning World's progeny handle a bit of give underfoot and a big run can be expected. Hawk House is another that can be expected to be sharper now that he has a run behind him and he could be good value for at least a place. However, Copywriter make the most appeal for the time being, as he gave a good indication that he has a bright future when fourth in a tough maiden at Yarmouth earlier in the month. John Gosden's runners usually improve in leaps and bounds for an outing and the mount of Jimmy Fortune is expected to be a different proposition today.
