Verdict
Kauri Forest, gets the confident vote with Authority, and Shamdian rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair third behind Noora last time out over a mile the drop to this trip should suit and from a good draw he is taken to score. Authority rates the main danger but he was behind the selection last time. However that was his first run of the season so he is sure to have come on for the run. Shamdian is another worthy of respect he finished in mid-division in a better race behind Ionian Spring last time and will find this much easier but he has had plenty of chances with out taking one and for that reason he is opposed. Moonshaft was a fair fifth behind Riska King last time over nine furlongs and the drop in trip is not sure to suit. Of the remainder Mister Muja is from a yard in form and has shown a modicum of ability so is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Kauri Forest.
